Short Term 12 (2013)

A great, interesting premise, and characters you genuinely care about, and hope that they make it out ok. Short Term 12 gives you a taste of how wonderful humanity could be, even in these dark times. It's touching when it needs to be, funny when it wants to be, and pretty emotional about rarely discussed problems with disadvantaged youths. The casting is very well done. Brie Larson is a really awesome girl, lets be honest. A few scenes were predictable, and felt as if we've seen them before, so no, I don't think it's as perfect as many people have said. But is it worth watching? Without a doubt, yes.
