I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore (2017)
I have a few alternatives for this long-ass title. Perhaps, "The Anti-Social Network"? How about, just simply, "I Hate You"? That's what this film is a about essentially. Good old fashioned hatred. Has Macon Blair been hanging out too much with Jeremy Saulnier? This film is too gleefully misanthropic, and that has it's negatives. The first half is just trash. I couldn't stand these two miserable characters and their stupid mission. But in the second half, all hell breaks loose. The blood and gore begin splattering. Ultimately, the film itself succumbs to it's misery and goes all in. In a way, that's kind of intoxicating.
